IGCAA Executive Director
Mr. Greig Sproule BComm, MBA
The Board of Directors of the Industrial Gas
Consumers Association of Alberta (IGCAA) is pleased to announce the
appointment of Greig Sproule as its Executive Director, effective
May 1, 2006.
Mr. Sproule is responsible for advancing the
interests of the association and its members. As chief
representative and spokesperson for the association, Mr. Sproule actively participates in gas pipeline task forces, regulatory
proceedings and other industry committees. Mr. Sproule pro-actively builds and enhances relationships between the association
and its key stakeholders, including producer associations,
regulators, government, gas pipeline companies and other consumer
organizations. As Executive Director, Mr. Sproule provides
administrative management and strategic leadership to the
association.
Mr. Sproule brings over 30 years of work
experience to the association with over ten (10) years as the President of an Energy Consulting Services Company and sixteen (16) years in the gas pipeline industry. Mr. Sproule holds a BComm and MBA, both from the
University of Calgary.
Formed in 1988, IGCAA is comprised of large
industrial companies which add value to the Alberta economy and
consume approximately 1.25 Bcf/day of natural gas in Alberta.
